The overall scheme comprises a data centre campus of up to three units (including server halls and cooling infrastructure, designed for an IT load of up to c.300MW across the three buildings (c.100 MW each), together with an integrated on-site energy generation centre and associated development. The energy centre will generate electricity from gas to provide resilient and reliable power supply to the data centre campus, mitigating pressure on local infrastructure and enabling the demand for data centre development to be met efficiently.
